May 29, 1955 ~ August 18, 2020

Melanie Yvonne Scott Thompson was born June 29, 1955. She lived a life full of laughter, love and a spunk only she had. She loved spending time with her family and her dogs. She touched many people in her time on earth, though she has passed on, her presence will continue to live on in our hearts forever.

Melanie went home to be with our Lord on August 18, 2020 in the comfort of her home. She was preceded by her parents, Wvonne and Emma Scott; and her sister, Mary Francis Rose. She is survived by her three sons, William "Andy" Scott, Trevor Evans Thomas Scott and Caleb Austin Scott-Thomas; as well as her two sisters; and four granddaughters.

Melanie's viewing will be 9am-8pm, Friday, August 21, 2020 at Cornerstone Funeral Home. Her family will receive friends from 4-7pm for visitation and final farewells.

There will not be a funeral service to follow.
