Daniel Mitchell Thompson

July 4, 1953 ~ November 8, 2020

Daniel Mitchell Thompson, 67, of Ponca City, died on November 8, 2020. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.

Danny was born on July 4, 1953, in Sargent, Nebraska, to Fred Wilson and Patricia Marilyn (Mitchell) Thompson. Danny received and Associates Degree from Northern Oklahoma College. He married Marianne Yarholar on November 21, 1980, in Oklahoma City, OK. He worked in management for Oklahoma Natural Gas and for Cable One.

Danny is survived by his wife, Mari, of the home; daughters, Jessica Thompson and her partner, Bill, Emily Thompson and her partner, Sean; grandchildren, Baylee, Savannah, Bri, Joey and Stella; brothers, Victor Thompson and his wife, Lisa, Mark Thompson and his wife, Norma, Steve Thompson and his wife, Gwen; sister-in-law, Phyllis Thompson; numerous cousins that were as close as siblings; several nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Phil Thompson.
