Dixie Charlene Thompson

September 2, 1942 ~ April 14, 2017

Dixie C. Thompson, 74, resident of Nowata, died at 4:27 P.M. on Friday in Dewey.

Funeral Services 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, April 19, Stumpff Funeral Home Chapel in Bartlesville. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory in Bartlesville.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Comforting Hands Hospice at 1366 S.E. Washington Blvd. Suite A Bartlesville, OK. 74006.

Mrs. Thompson was born September 2, 1942 at Oglesby, Oklahoma to Elzy Clifton and Madeline May (Riff) Scott. She grew up and received her education in the Nowata-Washington County Areas. She had attended Schooling as a Nurse's Aide, and had worked as a Nurse's Aide at Forrest Manor Nursing Home in Dewey, and at Some of the area nursing facilities.

Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband Donald Lee Lynn Sr., of Nowata, by two sons; Donald Lynn Jr of Skiatook, OK. Dustin Scott Lynn of Bartlesville, OK. two daughters; Cherri Dawn Fowler of Nowata, and Callie Elizabeth Lynn of Bartlesville, OK., by three brothers, Jim Scott of Bartlesville, Beryl Scott and wife Pam, and Richard Elzy Scott both of Nowata, by Nine grandchildren and Eleven Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, by one grandchild, and one great-grandchild.
