Zelma (Payne) Thomason

August 16, 1902 ~ September 23, 1998

Burial for Zelma Thomason was held at Honey Grove Texas near the Thomason family on September 26, 1998. Zelma Payne was born August 16, 1902 to Silas A  and Margaret Payne  and passed away in Hillsboro Texas on September 23, 1998. 

She attended school at Moore and Hills Business College in Oklahoma City.  She married Max Peterson, he passed away in 1935.  She married Bob Thomason in 1939.

Mrs. Thomason was preceded in death by her brother Ray Payne, Evelyn Hastings , Dorotha Mayes and Nellie Dawson. She is survived by her husband Bob Thomason of Hillsboro , TX. She had no children but was much loved by nieces, Susan Hastings and Diane Powell; nephews Jon Dyer and Richard Thomason.
