Kevin Lee Thomas passed away on January 12, 2022 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Kevin was born to Carl Thomas and Betty Smith-Thomas on May 14, 1962 in Coffeyville, Kansas.

Kevin attended Wann High School and was a Supervisor for Pipeline Operations at CVR Energy. During his teen years he worked for local ranchers, such as Gary Brown, Floyd Fitzsimmons, Lanny Robinson and Steve Snelson, and also worked for companies like Alfred Burrows Construction, Zinc Corporation, and was at CVR Energy for 31 years. Kevin had several awards and achievements during his years at CVR Energy.

His favorite pass time was spending time with his family, watching his kids and grandkids play sports, raising cattle, working outdoors, playing guitar, and traveling.

Kevin was preceded in death by his Mother and Father, Betty and Carl Thomas; Earl “Unc” King; Grandparents, Dorothy and Bob Smith; Grandmother, Lola Thomas; Father-in-law, Fred Deaton; and many loved ones including a Niece, Megan Thomas.

He is survived by his Wife, Janet Thomas of the home; Son, Chase Thomas of Copan, Ok; Daughter, Randi Hood and husband Jared of Collinsville, OK; Grandbabies, Harper (9) Hudson (5) Haven (2) Hood; Sisters, Carol and Joe Crites, Debbie Crites, Patty and Jon Asher, Linda and Jason Callahan, Lisa and Skip Jones; Brothers, Chalk Thomas and James Thomas; Mother and Father-in-law Marge and John Barcus; Sister-in-law, Judy Deaton; Brother-in-law, Justin Burkart and fiancé Teal Lindsey; along with numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
