Johnny David Thomas

John David Thomas
October 23, 1946 ~ March 14, 2018

Johnny David Thomas son of John David and Faye Odane (Vanderheiden) Thomas was born October 23, 1946 in Stilwell, Oklahoma and departed this life on March 14, 2018 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas at the age of 71 years.

John David had a Master's in Education Degree from Northeastern State University. He taught for 36 years and after retirement he worked in floral shops, owned and operated a tea room and collectable shop. He served his country proudly in the United States Air Force for four years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Faye Thomas, one brother; Herman E. Thomas, sisters; Regina Thomas and Louise Ellis.

John David is survived by his sisters, Neoma Hammett of Stilwell and Nema Freeman of Broken Arrow. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.

Memorial services will be held in the Roberts/Reed-Culver Chapel under the direction of Roberts/Reed- Culver Funeral Home.
