Wanda Jean Theyel, age 82, of Guthrie, Oklahoma passed away October 6, 2016 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Wanda was born on April 30, 1934 in Roosevelt, Oklahoma to Lee and Floy (Sensabaugh) Pitts.

Wanda married Joseph "Joe" Theyel on August 9, 1954 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They moved to Guthrie from Oklahoma City in 1977. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters. Wanda enjoyed reading, shopping and going to garage sales.

Survivors include her son Richard Theyel and wife Anne of Guthrie, daughter Donna Stubblefield and husband Jim of Oklahoma City and son Jack Theyel and wife Brenda of Roosevelt, Oklahoma. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 2 Great grandchildren. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, husband Joe on September 20, 2016 and 1 brother.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 21, 2016 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. James Wickersham officiating. Services are under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home.
