Mary N. Tenant

1857 ~ February 5, 1925

Mary N. Tenant was born in 1857 and at an early age she was converted and joined the Baptist church and lived a true Christian life.

She was married to Hugh Dayton at the age of seventeen. To this union was born eight children, six living and two dead. The living are: Mrs. M. C. Simmons, Phillip Dayton and W. H. Dayton of Mexico, Mrs. Lee Tippett, Rudy and Ida Dayton. Emmet Dayton died Aug. 31, 1919 and Vera Dayton died in 1888.

Mrs. Dayton departed this life February 5th, 1925, at the age of 69 years, 6 months and 2 days. She was a faithful wife and a loving mother, she bore her suffering well and we know she has gone to that beautiful home to await the coming of her precious children whom she loved so dearly.
