Vernon E. "Buck" Taylor

March 19, 1919 ~ November 18, 1996

Memorial services for Vernon E. "Buck" Taylor, 77, will be at a later date. He was cremated.

He was born March 19, 1919, in Jefferson, to Robert and Bessie Smith Taylor and died Monday, November 18, 1996, at his home in Hemet, California, after a long period of failing health.

He married Nioma Cofelt of Jet in 1940 and moved to California after their marriage.

He is survived by by his wife, Nioma, of the home; two sons, Eldon Taylor of India, Doyle Taylor of Moreno Valley, California; four sisters, Dorothy Simons Jones of Medford, Gladys Stodola of Perry, Helen Joy of Rockville Center, New York, and Roberta Van Pelt of Pueblo, Colorado.

He was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.
