Lisa Diane Taylor

Lisa Diane Taylor
April 28, 1967 ~ January 14, 2022

Lisa Taylor was born to loving parents who preceded her in death Wanda Sue Taylor and Elbert Lee Taylor. She was born in Dallas, TX April 28, 1967. She had 3 siblings and her family had moved around between Texas and Oklahoma. Lisa loved her family and her animals.

Lisa lived her life to the fullest and loved to make people laugh. She enjoyed feeding people and making sure everyone had a place to go for the holidays. She had a huge heart for animals and at a young age had a goat that she kept in the house. As she got older birds became her passion and she started Bird brains and feathered friends. She wanted to help abused birds and nurse them back to health and make sure they found their forever home. She soon learned that other animals needed the same help so she took in all variety of animals in addition to birds.

Lisa left behind her husband Paul Geitz; sister-in-law Donna Geitz; sisters Debbie Meadors and Tena (& Sammy) Andrew; brother Terry (& Beverly Ann) Taylor; children Ashley (& Nathainal) Smith, Taylor Johnson, Billy (& Elizabeth) Whitehead, Dakota Whitehead; 6 grandchildren Gavin Smith, Riley Ethridge, Korbin, Smith, Eva Smith, Gideon Smith and Addison Johnson

Lisa left us here on earth to be with the Lord, January 14, 2022. Even though she left a huge hole in the community and in her family’s hearts, she will surely be missed. Her famous words she always said “I am a peacock let me fly”. Fly high Lisa, we love you more than words can express.
