Bobby Wayne Taylor, 73, of Ardmore, Oklahoma passed from this life on Tuesday, February 11th, 2025 in Calera, Oklahoma. Bobby was born Wednesday, March 21st, 1951 at Talihina, Oklahoma.
Bobby grew up and went to school in Ardmore. He spent the past 45 years with Marilyn Fisher. Bobby worked as a steel worker at Oklahoma Steel and Wire in Madill over 30 years. He is the biggest die-hard OU sports fan since the age of 10. Bobby loved being outdoors whether he was mowing the lawn or cutting some trees. He enjoyed watching Gunsmoke and taking care of his rescue dog, Rosco, a mini pinscher and jack russell mix. Bobby is a member of the Choctaw Nation.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Burris; and son, Derrick Trevino.
Bobby is survived by his spouse, Marilyn Fisher of Atoka; daughter Janie Elizabeth Taylor and her fiancé, Andrew of Oklahoma City; son Anthony James Trevino and his wife, Leah of Middletown, Ohio; grandkids Charles-James Trevino and his wife, Sage of Japan, and Kaitlyn Trevino and her fiancé, John; a special aunt Velma Zammaron of Ardmore; special cousins Arlene, Leroy, and Lloyd Jr.; and a host of other cousins and friends.
Cremation arrangements are made and no services are planned at this time.
