Jackie Dean Sweet

Jackie Dean Sweet
November 26, 1946 ~ January 16, 2021

Jackie Dean Sweet, resident of Collinsville, was born November 26, 1946 to Rudolph and Helen Sweet in Stroud, Oklahoma. He departed this life January 16, 2021 at the age of 74 years, 1 month and 21 days.

Jackie was a loving and Caring man who held a special place in the hearts of those that knew him. He made his way to Collinsville in 2014, with a few stops in between, after returning to Oklahoma in 2006 from Kalamazoo, Michigan. He was many things in life. A soldier in the United States Army; a delivery driver for medical supplies, an Elvis fan who loved the oldies but goodies, his dogs best friend. He could spend hours watching westerns. But, most importantly he was a family man. King of the one liner, Jackie loved being goofy with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His family gave him great joy. Love was evident and laughter ensued anytime they were together.

Jackie is survived by three children, Jackie Dion Sweet of Lancaster, Texas; Angela Sweet of Collinsville, Oklahoma and Jaimee Sweet of Tulsa, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Brittany McCracken of Oklahoma City; Robert Littlefield of Tulsa; Seth Sweet of Skiatook and Alexis Sweet of Owasso; three great-grandchildren, Bentley, Landon and Ayden McCracken. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Darrell Sweet.

Services have been postponed at this time.
