John Junior Swain

January 13, 1928 ~ February 4, 2018

John Junior Swain, age 90, a resident of Lincoln and long time resident of Dutch Mills area, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas.  He was born January 13, 1928 in Swain, Arkansas, the son of Ralph Justice and Dollie Mae (Lynch) Swain.

John served in the United States Army during World War II.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Wanda Patterson, two sisters; Lela Mae Wright and Elwanda Swain and two infant sons.

Survivors include his daughter Karen Lynnette Freedle and husband John Lyle of Westville, Oklahoma; son Michael Swain and wife Ruth of Prairie Grove; one grandson Daniel Freedle and wife Stephanie of Prairie Grove and one granddaughter Jenna Swain of Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 7th, 2018, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Burial will be in the Dutch Mills Cemetery, there will be no graveside service held.
