Eleonora (Cooksey) Swaim

August 26, 1930 ~ January 25, 2008

Eleonora (Cooksey) Swaim, died Monday, January 25, 2008, after a short illness at the age of 77.

Eleonora was born August 26, 1930 in Stilwell, OK., to Geneva (Hummingbird) Cooksey and Floyd Cooksey.

She grew up in the nearby community of Wauhillau where she was always proud to say she was baptized. She attended High School in Stilwell, but graduated from Bagley High School in Tahlequah, OK.

Mrs. Swaim is survived by her husband of 37 years, William Swaim, daughters; Linda (Snodgrass) Anderson and husband Ken of Broken Arrow, OK., and Lynnette (Snodgrass) Burgett of Chouteau, OK. Grandchildren are Denna Ross, Rachel Hogan, Joshua Anderson and five great grandchildren.

A memorial service was held February 5th, 2008 in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma at Floral Haven Chapel.
