Shannon "Shane" DeWayne Swafford, 39, of Stillwater passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 following an automobile accident in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
He was born on April 14, 1972 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Jack DeWayne and Candy Brewer Swafford.
He attended Stroud High School and enjoyed fishing, camping and listening to music.
Shannon is survived by his mother, Candy Slack and step-father George Slack; brother Lance Swafford and wife Terrie of Perkins, Oklahoma; and sister Mysti Stevens and husband John of Perkins, Oklahoma; grandparents Charles and Vi Swafford of Agra, Oklahoma; grandmother Connie Brewer of Manteca, California; niece Desiree Stevens; and nephews Caleb and Jacob Swafford.
He was preceded in death by his father Jack Swafford; niece Cierra Swafford; and grandfather Richard Brewer.
Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2011 at the Palmer Marler Funeral Home Chapel, Cushing, Oklahoma.
