Marie Annette (McGee) Summers
October 24, 1947 ~ March 31, 2015

Marie "Annette" Summers lost her hard fought battle with cancer on March 31, 2015. She was born in McMinnville, TN on October 24, 1947 to J.C. and Rose McGee.

Annette received her Registered Nursing degree in the early 70�s. She spent most of her 30 plus year nursing career working in various hospitals in southern California. The last few years she worked for home health care agencies in the Carlsbad and Oceanside, CA area. She loved her job and loved taking care of others. Many of her former coworkers became lasting loving friends.

Annette was preceded in death by her father, J.C. McGee, and her sister, Debra Morgan. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Grissom, Edmond, her precious granddaughter, who was the light of her life, Alexa Marie Grissom, Edmond, her mother, Rose Milton, Guthrie and her brother and sister-in-law Jim and Kathy McGee, Guthrie. She�s also survived by her numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.

Annette made the decision to donate her body to science. There will be no service at this time. Donations in Annette's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
