Donald Ray Summers
September 15, 1946 ~ May 19, 2017

Memorial services are pending for Donald Ray Summers, 70, of Duncan, Oklahoma, who passed away on Friday, May 19, 2017, in Oklahoma City. He was born on September 15, 1946, to Arthur Thurman and Velma Irene Price Summers, in Amber.

Donald graduated from Central High School in 1966. He served 8 years in the United States Air Force. After his 1974 honorable discharge from the Air Force at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, Nevada, he stayed in Vegas and became a culinary chef. He moved to Duncan in December, 2010. He was a member of the Western Heights Baptist Church. 

He is survived by his son, Adam Summers and his wife Tara, of Jacksonville, Florida; his granddaughter, Bridget Summers; his sisters, Linda Owens and her husband Johnny, and Paula Walters and her husband Dorman, all of Duncan; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 4 brothers.
