Visitation will be held Sat., July 10, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. in Delano Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service to follow at 10:00 a.m.

Clara was born May 27, 1925 in Porum, Oklahoma and moved with her family to McFarland. Clara met and later married Frank Summers of McFarland. Clara was blessed with three children, Johnny Summers, Butch Summers and wife, Bertha and Alberta Angone and husband, Aldo, five grandchildren, Linda Alter, Julie Summers, John Summers, Shelley Davis and husband, Ed and Nicole Angone. She also had 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. In later years, Clara was blessed with the companionship and love of Merle Chapel of Bakersfield. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank to whom she was married to for 48 years, her son, Johnny and also great granddaughter Gabrielle Davis. Clara will be greatly missed by those of us who loved her.

Clara worked for many years as a waitress, twenty of those years at Freddie's "Top of the Hill." Clara loved to play golf and go bowling until her health no longer permitted it. She also loved to play cards and many board games. She loved the Dodgers Baseball Team and knew current stats on all of the players.

Clara, we know that you wait for us in Heaven and through faith and grace we will be with you again.
