Patrick Joseph Sullivan III

May 3, 1929 ~ March 4, 2006

Patrick Joseph Sullivan III, 76 of Stilwell, Oklahoma formerly of Rogers and Fayetteville, AR., passed away March 4, 2006 in Springdale, AR.

Mr. Sullivan was born May 3, 1929 in Rockville Center, NY the son of Patrick Joseph Sullivan II and Mary Monica Wiley Sullivan.

He was a microbiologist for five years before becoming a science teacher for Sewanka Central High School District in Floral Park NY. He was a member of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Rogers, AR., and was active in the Beaver Lake Sail and Power Squadron, he was also a former commander and taught for the Squadron. He was active in Boy Scouts for 25 years.

Mr. Sullivan moved to Tonitown, AR., in 1986 from Valley Stream, NY., and then he moved to Rogers, AR., in 1994. He enjoyed spending time with his dogs and horses and living in the country.

He is preceded in death by his first wife June Sullivan in 1996, his parents; one son Kevin Patrick Sullivan; one sister Virginia Sullivan.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Sullivan of the home, one daughter Kathleen Ann Pyatt of Lake KonKamo, NY; his step-son Thomas Anders of Borger, TX; his grandchildren Richard Pyatt, Ryan Sullivan, Erin Sullivan and Melinda Anders.

Memorial services were held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Rogers, AR., with Monsignor Richard Oswald officiating.

Private burial in the St. Joseph Cemetery in Tonitown, AR.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude�s Hospital c/o Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th St., Rogers, AR 72756.
