David E. Sturman

October 06, 1950 ~ February 15, 2019

David E. Sturman was born October 6, 1950 to Engle Sturman and Betty Beard. He married Jane Comer January 12, 1970 and was drafted in the US Army January 15, 1970. David was active duty for 14 years and worked in civil service from 1984-2009. He was a member of Cox's Store Volunteer Department for several years. David enjoyed hunting and fishing and loved watching NASCAR and reading western books.

David passed away February 15, 2019 in Lawton, Oklahoma.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Engle Sturman and Betty Beard Bruner. David is survived by his wife, Jane Sturman of Lawton; his son, Engle Sturman of Lawton; his daughter, Jeanine Sturman of Lawton; his brothers, Jay and Judy Sturman of Mounds, Ok and Mike and Mary Sturman of Prattville, Ok; and several nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to: Cox's Store Volunteer Fire Department, 2809 NE 150th St., Lawton, Ok 73507.
