EvaLee Ellen (Hagan) Stephenson

February 8, 1926 ~ February 3, 2004

God peacefully called EvaLee home on Thursday, February 3, 2004, while her loving husband Orville Archie Stephenson was by her side. Her life will be celebrated in a memorial service to be held at First Presbyterian Church of Bakersfield On Thursday, February 5, 2004, at 10:00 a.m.

EvaLee was born on February 8, 1926, in Norman, OK, as the only child of Shie and Loretta Hagan. EvaLee and her husband of 55 years, Orville Archie Stephenson, Jr., have three sons, Orville Stephenson III, Randal Stephenson and Corey Stephenson.

Along side her husband, EvaLee spent many years as a volunteer for Wycliffe Bible Translators, campground host in California and Washington, and construction help at Calvin Crest Conferences in Oakhurst, CA, and Camp Soundview in Longbranch, WA. She also spent many years involved with family and friends at First Presbyterian Church.

EvaLee is survived by her husband and three sons, daughters-in-law, Leslie Stephenson, Brenda Stephenson and Kerri Stephenson; granddaughters, Shannon, Casey, Alicia and Shasta; grandsons, Nathan, Daniel, Mack, Erik and Alek; and a wonderful extended family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hoffmann Hospice.

EvaLee may be gone from out reach, but will always remain close to our hearts.

God Bless
