Ingeborg Karoline Stephens

December 17, 1924 ~ October 03, 2015

Ingeborg Karoline Stephens, Lawton, was born in Bochum, Germany and became a United States citizen.

On October 3, 2015, The world lost a wonderful person that came into and left this world unheralded. She chose to impact the world by the way she lived her life and through those she loved.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12:00pm to 8:00pm Friday, October 9, 2015. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 10:00am in the Whinery-Huddleston Chapel.

Ingeborg was proud to be an American and considered the United States her home.

During her long life, she was a beloved wife to her late husband, David, a great loving mother to her son Jay and daughter-in-law Karen, and a doting grandmother to her granddaughter Rachel.

While her family is comforted with the knowledge that she will be in heaven with her husband, they will miss her strength, wisdom and love, which were always abundant. She devoted her life to her family and those she loved. She taught her son the importance of strength of character and integrity and instilled in him a strong love of the lord. To her daughter in law, she was her mother, confident, and friend. To her granddaughter she was a loving Oma. We will miss her warm smile, piercing blue eyes, words of wisdom, and most of all, the way she said, "I love you".
