Donald Dwain Stephens

July 18, 1939 ~ February 23, 2007

Viewing for Donald Dwain Stephens, age 67, of Ninnekah, Oklahoma, will be held Monday and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the McRay Funeral Home. Cremation will follow with no service.

Donald Dwain Stephens was born the son of William Henry Stephens and Creal Davis Stephens on July 18, 1939, in Chickasha, Oklahoma. He died on February 23, 2007, at his home in rural Ninnekah.

He married Ruby Irene Reiss on August 9, 1963, in Chickasha.

Dwain was born and raised in Chickasha where he resided until his death. He was a home builder in the Chickasha area for over forty years. Dwain was a devoted husband to Ruby for 39 years, and a beloved father and "papa" to his children and grandchildren. He was as avid hunter and outdoorsman and shared this passion with friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Henry and Creal Stephens, one sister, Elaine Baxter, and his wife, Ruby Irene Stephens.

Survivors include: Son & Daughter-in-law, Richard & Terry Stephens of Flower Mound, Texas; Daughter & Son-in- law: Jennifer & Max Toperzer of Norman; Companion: Sue Browen of the home; Brother: Charles Stephens of Coleman; Brother: James Stephens of Ninnekah; Brother: Robert Stephens of Shawnee; Sister: Janis Stephens of Chickasha; Three granddaughters: Sasha, Ashley & Hannah Stephens of Flower Mound, Texas.

Arrangements are under the direction of the McRay Funeral Home.
