Rebecca Lou "Becky" (Sherrets) Steele
November 19, 1957 ~ April 06, 2018

Rebecca "Becky" Lou Steele was born November 19, 1957 in Independence, Iowa to Georgia (McCalley) Sherrets and Donald Sherrets. She passed away April 6, 2018 at Elk City, Oklahoma at the age of 60 years, 4 months and 18 days.

Becky grew up in Independence, Iowa where she graduated from high school in 1975. After graduation she moved to Pocatello, Idaho and found employment with IBM where she was a microchip inspector. She also had and raised her daughter in Idaho and later moved to Oklahoma in 1988. After Becky moved to Oklahoma she met and was later married to Billy Steele in October of 1990. Together they made Elk City their home. Becky loved her dogs, gardening and fishing, but her true passion was spending time with her grandchildren and family.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband, Billy, of the home; 1 daughter, Teri Wilson and husband, Derek, Elk City, OK; 2 grandchildren, Ethan and Oliver Wilson, both of Elk City, OK; 3 sisters, Christy Hockens, Independence, IA, Judy Bauer, Independence, IA and Donna Hahn, Waterloo, IA; 1 brother, Tom Sherrets, Colorado and a host of other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, Becky's wishes were for friends to donate to their church or their favorite charity.
