Mary Louise (Hildebrand) Steele

Sept. 26, 1915 ~ Dec. 19, 2006

Funeral services for Mary Louise Steele, age 91, will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m., December 23, 2006, at Peters Funeral Home in Wasco, at 1401 7th Street..

Viewing will be Friday, December 22, 2006 from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m

Mrs. Steele passed away on December 19, 2006 in Delano, CA. Pastor Jim Cherry of Rexland Assembly of God Church will officiate and interment will follow at Wasco Memorial Park.

Serving as casketbearers will be Douglas Hall, Jack, Bill and Christopher Roberts, Jim Edwards and Shawn Urguhart.

Arrangements are under the direction of Milton Carpenter Funeral Home of Dixon.

Mrs. Steele was born September 26, 1915 in Morris, Oklahoma to John Hildebrand and Ella Smithson. She married Leonard Steele in January 15, 1934 in Beggs, Oklahoma and moved to California in 1936.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Steele; her brother, George Hildebrand; her daughter, Letha Goff; and a granddaughter, Adrian Edwards. Her sister Letha Santillan, her brother, Wayne Hildebrand and wife, Lucille, and sister-in-law, Wanda Hildebrand; her four grandchldren and their spouses: Jack and Lori Roberts, Becky and Doug Hall, Cindy and Jim Edwards, and Bill and Gaylene Roberts; 9 great grandchildren, and 3 1/2 great great grandchildren survives her.She was a wonderful lady and will be greatly missed
