Dorothy Mae (Widman) Starks

May 28, 1928 ~ December 28, 2015

Dorothy Mae Starks, age 87, died Monday, December 28, 2015 in Pittsburg, Oklahoma.

Dorothy Mae Starks was born on May 28, 1928 in Baker, Kansas to William and Mary Audrey (Clouse) Widman.

She grew up in Kansas and married Fay Erwin Starks on July 13, 1942. They made their home in Arizona and Dorothy lived there most of her adult life. In her later years she moved to Ada before moving to Pittsburg 2 years ago. Her main interests in life were her family, grandkids and her Chihuahua's. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Connie Gogle and Reta Robertson and husband Gaylord; 1 son, Richard Starks and wife Cynthia; grandchildren, Teresa Skiba and husband John, James Hathaway, Kendra Elrod and husband Jeff, Kelly Barleycorn, Amy Mendoza and husband Eric, Lindsey Hyden and husband Rod, Larry Robertson and wife Catrina and Mike Robertson; 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Jimmy Starks; a grandson, Terrell Hathaway; a son-in-law, Kenneth Gogle; and a sister.

Cremation by Brumley-Mills Funeral Home & ashes were taken to Arizona to be with her husbands.
