Loretta (Powell) Stamper

Loretta (Powell) Stamper
May 18, 1955 ~ January 01, 2019

The Memorial service celebrating and honoring the life of Loretta Stamper, 63, of Enid, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2019, in the Grace World Outreach Church, with Pastor Carl Roberts and Pastor Wayne Bland officiating. Complete cremation care is under the direction of Enid Cremation Service.

She was born May 18, 1955, in Whittier, California, to Loren and Zola Dodson Powell and passed from this life on January 1, 2019.

She was raised in California and moved with her family to Enid where she continued her education. She married Larry Stamper in 1974 in Miami, Oklahoma. After her marriage she received her GED. She worked as a head manager for Dandy Deli. She had a love for spending time with family, crafts, reading, dogs, watching and chasing storms. She enjoyed fishing, helping others and sharing with others "what her God can do!" She helped work and volunteer for the Grace World Church in her spare time. Above all she loved Jesus, her Church and her family.

She is survived by her husband, Larry; daughter, Cresta Stamper; son, Tim Stamper; sister, Cheryl Powell; brother, J.C. Powell; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, David and Dale; and son, Larry Jr.

Condolences to the family may be made online at WWW.EnidCremation.com.
