Daphne M. (Koehnke) St. Onge

Daphne M. St. Onge
September 24, 1921 ~ June 01, 2018

With sorrow, we announce the passing of Daphne M. St. Onge, age 96, of Lawton. She passed away Friday, June 1, 2018 at her home. At her request, no services will be held. Cremation services have been entrusted to Whinery-Huddleston.

Daphne was born on September 24, 1921 in Hay Springs, Nebraska to Clause and Gayle Koehnke. Sha married in 1942 at Harrison, Nebraska before moving to Chula Vista, California in 1945.

She worked at Rohr Industries for thirty-two years before retiring in May of 1989. Daphne was an avid sports fan, especially of the Atlanta Braves and Green Bay Packers. She also loved bowling, fishing and always looked forward to breakfast on Sunday at her favorite restaurant.

Daphne is survived by her children, Barry St. Onge and wife Debra of Chula Vista, California, Robert St. Onge and wife Janis of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, Gayle Black of Lawton and Margaret McGraw of Denver; one brother, Robert Koehnke and wife Nan of Gig Harbor, Washington; ten grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren along with numerous other relatives and close friends.
