Karen Kay (Greenwood) Spiekerman

Services for Karen Kay (Greenwood) Spiekerman, a Tupelo resident, were held November 17, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at First Lutheran Church in Ada. Brown's Funeral Service of Coalgate was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Spiekerman was born January 7, 1937 in Omaha, NE to Charles and Faith Emerald (Dunn) Greenwood and passed away November 14, 2011 at her home in Tupelo at the age of 74. She married Donald Spiekerman on June 10, 1960 and he preceded her in death on April 24, 2003. Mrs. Spiekerman attended the University of Iowa and was a school teacher.

Survivors include her children, Dr. Penny Landers and husband Tom of Sandwich, IL., Dr. Jill Wagner and husband Ted of Milwaukee, WI and Roger Spiekerman of Emerson, IA; sister, Bev Paprocki of Keizer, OR; grandchildren, Siri Landers and Breadom Landers, along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and loved friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and daughter, Elizabeth Spiekerman.
