Juanita (Missildine) Spence
December 19, 1945 ~ February 9, 2020 (age 74)

Juanita Spence was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Juanita Spence, 74 of Elk City, Oklahoma was born on December 19, 1945 in Montgomery, Alabama. She is the daughter of Vonti and Inez (Morrisweather) Missildine. She passed away on February 9, 2020 at her home in Elk City, Oklahoma with her loving family by her bedside.

She married her best friend, Robert Spence on December 7, 1979 in Hooker, Oklahoma. They resided in Hooker until 1996 when they moved to Elk City to be closer to their family. Juanita spent her working years cleaning houses, apartments and the post office. She started every morning by going to the town coffee shop, chatting and drinking coffee with her friends, When Juanita wasn't working she enjoyed gardening, playing bingo, going fishing, bowling and listening to music, especially Elvis Presley. Most importantly, Juanita enjoyed spending time with her family and loved ones.

Cherishing her memory is her husband, Robert Spence of the home, 2 sons, Kenneth Grissell and Ricky Clinton, 2 daughters, Carol Koehn and Sherry Hatfield, 4 grandsons, Pat Spence, Rob Koehn, Justin Koehn, and Eli Hatfield, 1 granddaughter, Kelby Hatfield, and many more grandchildren and several great grandchildren; 1 brother, Tommy Missildine, 4 sisters, Mary Blair, Kathy Gibson, Frances Missildine, and Maggie Missildine.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Vonti and Inez Missildine, 1 brother, Robert Missildine, 2 sisters, Daney Mearl Missildine and Linda King.
