Mary Louise (Wolf) Sparks
February 6, 1946 ~ August 16, 2025

Mary Louise (Wolf) Sparks, 79, born in Princeton, Missouri, passed on to Heaven in Ponca City, OK on August 16th, 2025.

She was born on February 6th, 1946, to Nellie Bryan and John Wolf, and was raised by her grandparents, John & Shirley Roberts.

Up until the end, Mary maintained her kindness, grace, compassion, and always looking for opportunities to be a blessing and encouragement to others.

Mary’s most honorable ministry was being a pastor’s wife for 46 years. She also loved working in accounting, bookkeeping, secretarial services, decorating at the church, and truly loved making memories with her family. She was a dedicated wife, mother, mother-in-law and grandmother.

Mary’s most recent ministries include: Working in the church office, greeter, decorator, and VBS ministry at Second Baptist Church, and much enjoyed participating in the nursing home ministry.

Mary was preceded in passing by her grandparents, John & Shirley Roberts; parents, Nellie Bryan & John Wolf; her aunt, Betty Perkins; and uncles, Gerald Roberts and Delbert Roberts; her brother, Dean Wolf; sister-in-law, Barb Wolf; her brother-in-law, Bill Berry; and her adopted son, Joseph Sparks.

She is survived by her husband, Larry Sparks; her daughter, Rhonda White (husband Charles White); and her adopted son, Jesse Sparks; and her grandchildren, Andrew White, Matthew White, James White, Zack Fultz, Luke Fultz, and Nicholas Johnson. She is also survived by her siblings, Johanna Waterhouse (husband Dale), Barbara Berry, Larry Wolf (wife Vicky), and Glenn Wolf (wife Carolyn);

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 21st, 2025, at Second Baptist Church in Ponca City, OK. The burial will take place on Friday, August 22nd, 2025, at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery in Winfield, KS.
