Muschi (Hauenstein) Sowle
August 11, 1941 ~ March 30, 2023

Funeral services for Muschi Sowle will be Friday, April 14, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Golden Oaks Chapel, Enid, Oklahoma, with Chaplain Gary Miller officiating.

Muschi was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 30, 2023. Muschi was born in Ingolstadt, Germany, on August 11, 1941, to Georg and Magdalena Hauenstein.

At age 17 she met the love of her life, Jimmy Sowle, who was serving in the U.S. Army. Muschi and Jimmy married on June 5, 1961. When Jimmy's tour was complete, Muschi, Jimmy, and their young son, moved back to Jimmy's hometown of Enid, Oklahoma. Muschi has called Enid her home for more than 60 years. Most recently, she has enjoyed living and serving others at Golden Oaks.

Muschi was preceded in death by husband Jimmy.

Muschi is survived by her son, Ed and wife Lanette Sowle of Rosemount, Minnesota; two grandchildren, Clint and wife Morgan Sowle of Rosemount, Minnesota, Blake Sowle of San Diego, California; and great-grandson Colton Sowle.

Memorials may be made to Golden Oaks Village, with Anderson Burris Funeral Home serving as custodian. Online guestbook at www.andersonburris.com.
