Karen Anne (Christian) Southerland
October 2, 1961 ~ October 22, 2021

Karen Anne Southerland, 60, of Kingston, Oklahoma passed away Friday, October 22, 2021, at the Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. She was born October 2, 1961, in Breckenridge, Texas to the late Doy Lynn Christian and Shirley Ann Fonville Christian. Karen was raised in Kingston where she graduated high school in 1980. She lived her entire life in Kingston working as a homemaker. Karen married Mark Southerland on August 12, 1979, in Kingston and she enjoyed crocheting, doing crafts, sewing and loved her grandchildren.

She was survived by her husband: Mark Southerland, Kingston, Oklahoma. Children: Annie Kordeliski and husband John, Kingston, Oklahoma, Seth Southerland and wife Heather, Arlington, Texas. 2 Grandchildren: David and Matthew Southerland. Brother: Butch Christian and wife Jackie, Houston, Texas. Sister: Sherry Welch, Houston, Texas.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents and one brother in-law: Larry Welch.

Memorial Service will be Thursday at 11:00 am, October 28, 2021, at the Watts Funeral Home, Kingston, Oklahoma. Joe Patterson will officiate the service. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com.
