Steve Souter

April 7, 1955 ~ June 11, 2023

Steve Souter passed away June 11, 2023, in Las Vegas, Nev.

Steve was born April 7, 1955, in Larnerd, Kan., to Ezekiel George (Zeke) Souter and Cleo Ruth (Sue) Souter Miller. He attended Kingfisher High School and joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 1978. After his service with the Marine Corps, Steve returned to Kingfisher where he worked for Arrow Trucks.

He later moved to California, followed by a final move to Las Vegas.

Steve was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, brother Bill Souter and brother-in-law William Burpo.

He is survived by two daughters Lindsey Mitchell (Michael) of Las Vegas and Jaime Palmira (Shane) of Maryland; three grandchildren, Ashlyn and Kellan of Las Vegas and Everett of Maine; siblings Sharon Jones of McAlester, Janice Sorells of Euless, Texas, Lonny Souter (Sharon) of Belton, Texas, Kathy Burpo of Royse City, Texas, Randy Souter (Robin) of Fairview and sister-in-law Patsy Souter of Fargo, N.D., and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
