Mark Soudek, 67-year-old Locust Grove resident, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at his home. He was born on January 23, 1957, in Kingfisher, Oklahoma to Ralph Victor Soudek and Norma Jeane (Campbell) Soudek. Mark graduated from Thorton High School in Denver, Colorado in 1975. He served his country in the United States Air Force after graduating high school.
Mark worked and traveled installing fiber optic and 5G cable for several years throughout the country. His hobbies and joys in life were providing charity to people in need (Mark was a believer in paying it forward), family time (including quality time with his mother in her last years), watching Sci-Fi movies, motorcycle riding, casino gaming, and enjoying good food.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Norma and Ralph Soudek and, his maternal and paternal grandparents.
The family includes his siblings, Greg Soudek of Cleveland, Angela Carter and husband Robert of Cleveland, Rod Soudek of Cleveland, Rhonda Grantham and husband Paul of Cleveland, Jennifer Peppard and husband Jay of Arlington, TX, numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
