Lois Ann (Cook) Sol
February 13, 1927 ~ January 17, 2021

Lois Ann Sol, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born February 13,1927, in Missoula, Montana, she departed this life on January 17, 2021, at her home north of Chandler, at the age of 93 years.

Lois was the daughter of Arthur and Myrtle (Swanson) Cook who were ranchers east of Missoula. Lois later attended college and soon after met and married John Dirk Sol, the love of her life. Years later John and Lois moved to Chandler, Oklahoma, where they showed and sold paint horse until Johns death in 1999. Lois continued living at the home until the time of her passing. She was greatly loved and will be truly missed.

Her parents; husband John Dirk; son John Dirk Jr.; and one sister Wanda Alsaker preceded Lois in death.

Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Hoover of Chandler, Geneva Dawley and husband David of Chandler, Jana Steele and husband Jack of Chandler; one daughter-in-law, Alice Sol of Missoula, Montana; one sister, Lola Mae LeProwse of Missoula; grandchildren, Shawn and Amy Hoover, Fox Hoover, David and Brie Dawley, Eric and Andrea Dawley, Bobby and Misti Stossel, Jami Stossel, Jill Bashorun, Joe and Jalinda Steele, Gene Sol, Jake and Jessica Sol, and Jessie Sol; numerous great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service, Chandler, Oklahoma.
