Jerry Clarence Snider

Oct. 27, 1943 ~ April 21, 2006

A memorial service for Jerry Clarence Snider, 62, of Muskogee, OK., formerly of Helena, OK. will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Keefeton Freewill Baptist Church. The Rev. Danny Barks will officiate. Arrangements are by Muskogee Cremation and Funeral Service.

He was born Oct. 27, 1943, in Helena, OK. to Clarence W. and Lela M. Goodrich Snider and died Friday, April 21, 2006, in Tulsa, OK.

He was raised by Cora and Babe Moore. He worked with kids all of his life and was a supervisor at the blind school. He also worked at state of Oklahoma School for Boys. For the past few years he worked with a juvenile detention center.

Surviving are his wife, Rowena Hubbell Snider of Muskogee; two daughters, Kimberly Dawn Moran of Muskogee and Kayla Rene' Perez of Broken Arrow; one son, Kevin Snider of Troy, Ill.; one brother, Jack Snider of Kingfisher; three sisters, Glenna Mahieu of Helena,OK., Dorothy Wagner of Marble Falls, Texas and Belva Jean Shoemaker of Lahoma, OK.; and 11 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Peggy Sweatt.

Memorials may be made to the Keefeton Freewill Baptist Church.
