Harold Parker Sneed

Harold Parker Sneed
January 1, 1948 ~ March 9, 2022

On March 9, 2022 Harold Parker ‘Parker’ Sneed passed away at the age of 74 at his home in Stroud, OK.

Parker Sneed owned/operated Parker’s Pawn Shop for 41 years, which was the longest running business in town. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church as well as an active participant of New Covenant Church, The Chamber of Commerce, The Ok Pawnbrokers Assoc. and was an ordained minister. He enjoyed reading, playing chess, $2 bill origami, Sudoku, studying the bible and anything that challenged his mind.

In 1968, Parker was an All-American Wrestler at OSU. He was a National Champion and is in the Oklahoma State University (OSU) Hall of Fame.

Parker will always be remembered by his family with love. He leaves to cherish his memory: Sondra Sneed, spouse; three daughters- Kelly (Sneed) Rosson of Tulsa, Shelta Sneed of Tulsa and Hillary (Sneed) Jones of Edmond, and their significant others. In addition, his twin brother Hilliard Perry Sneed with wife Teresa and sister Lila (Sneed) Reed. He has six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Parker was preceded in death by grandparents Harry & Lena Sneed and Frank & Sarah Wilson. In addition, his parents Hilliard Parker Sneed & Francis Claribel (Wilson) Sneed along with sister Dorothe Mae Whenry.
