Wade Smith
August 26, 1967 ~ March 11, 2018

Wade, age 50, McKinney, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home Sunday, March 11, 2018. 

Wade was born August 26, 1967, and grew up in Canton. After graduation, he attended North Western Oklahoma State University where he graduated in 1989.

Wade served ten years in the Dallas Police Department, where he received numerous commendations for valor in the line of duty. 

In 1999, he met Leona Sue Sullivan and moved to McKinney. 

Wade was a loving husband, son, brother, father, and friend. His humor kept all his loved ones laughing.

Wade is survived by wife Leona Sue; son, Tanner Wade; mother, Lynn and husband Roland Boudreau; sisters, Valerie King and Ashli Schiska; aunt Deborah Letcher; many loving friends and extended family.

He was pre-deceased by his father Bruce Smith; step-father Edward Schiska; and his grandparents.

"Blessed are they that mourn, for they shall be comforted." St. Matthew V:5.
