Lorane Deloris (Callahan) Smith

Jan 8, 1922 ~ March 8, 2005

Services: Fri., Mar. 11, 11 a.m.

Services will be held in Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3700 River Blvd., for Lorane Deloris Smith, 83, who passed away March 8, 2005, in Bakersfield. Pastor Doug Davis of Calvary Bible Church will officiate. Graveside services will be held in Coalinga District Cemetery, in Coalinga on Monday, March 14.

Lorane was born in Healdton, Oklahoma and was the youngest of the nine children of Charles and Lola Callahan. She graduated from high school and headed to Coalinga, CA, where she was married and raised her family. She lived and worked there until 20 years ago when she was widowed and moved to Bakersfield.

Lorane is survived by two children, David Smithson and Janice Christian and her husband, Chris; her grandchildren, Rick Smithson, Anjanette Smithson, Traci Mendosa and her husband, Patrick and Carrie Winn and her husband, Robert; her great-grandchildren, Mallory, P.J., Jordan, Haeleigh and Megan; one great-great-grandchild, Andrew and extended family and friends.

The family would like to say Thanks so much to Westcherster Gardens and Emmanuel San Joaquin Convalescent for the support and care in her last several years.
