Jesse Mack Smith born November 4, 1943 in Springfield, Mo to
Jesse and Seleta Smith, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025
surrounded by his family
Jesse moved to Stroud Oklahoma in the early 60s. There he worked at Midway Downs Racetrack where he met the love of his life Marilyn Oliver. They married on February 7, 1967 and they had three children, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Jesse worked for and retired from Oklahoma Natural Gas after 30 years. He attended the First United Methodist Church for 50+ years. He loved playing golf, drawing, painting and working in carpentry
Jesse’s proudest accomplishments were his family and his relationship with Jesus.
Jesse is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn of the home. Daughter Kristie Smith Hammock and husband Mike of Davenport, Ok. Son, Michael Smith and wife Joy of Broken Arrow, Ok. Daughter Samantha Smith Perkins and husband, Brian of Wichita Falls, Tx. Granddaughter Kirsten Smith Gallagher and husband Seth of Coweta, Ok. Grandson, Justin Hammock, and wife Rachel of Davenport, Ok. Granddaughter Evelyn Perkins and fiancé Ryan Orr of Wichita Falls, Tx. Grandson Carter Perkins of Wichita Falls, Tx. Great grandkids, Gavin and Harper-Jo Hammock, and Drake Carter, along with a host of other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Stroud food pantry.
