Eloise (Anoatubby) Smith
November 1, 1943 ~ December 12, 2020 (age 77)

Eloise(Anoatubby) Smith of Ardmore passed away on December 12, 2020 at Mercy Hospital Love County at the age of 77 years, 1 month & 11 days. Eloise was born on November 1, 1943 in Ardmore OK to the late Virgil Lee Anoatubby & Thelma (Sickles) Anoatubby.

Eloise was raised in Johnston County where she lived the majority of her life. She made her home in Ardmore for the last 2 years. Eloise married Harland Smith, a union that would last several years.

Eloise worked as a teacher for Ardmore Public Schools for a short period of time. She also worked as a truck driver and for Kodak. Eloise also served as a foster parent for 15 years. Some of the hobbies that Eloise enjoyed were sewing, painting, & watching the Hallmark Channel. Eloise had a very special love for her kids and her family. Eloise was a proud member of the Chickasaw Nation.

Eloise leaves behind to cherish her memory:
Son: James Kevin Linderman & wife Peggy of Cushing, OK
Daughter: Sonya Godwin & husband Norman of Tishomingo
Brothers: Virgil Lee Anoatubby Jr. of Tishomingo
Rickey Melvin Anoatubby & wife Debi of Dallas, TX
She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, & a host of other family members & friends.

Eloise was preceded in death by:
Parents: Virgil Lee & Thelma Anoatubby
Husband: Harland Maurice Smith
Son: Brian Kelly Crumpton
Brother: Sidney Anoatubby
Sisters: Virginia Elders, Susan Anoatubby

At the request of the family, cremation services were selected. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care & direction of Tishomingo Funeral Home. Online condolences may be made at www.tishomingofuneralhome.com.
