Connie Lee Smith

September 1, 1936 ~ February 4, 2021

Connie Lee Smith, 84, passed from this life on February 4, 2021, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Connie was born on September 1, 1936, in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. Connie was the daughter of John C. and Dolly (Roubedeaux) Smith. Connie grew up and attended school in Pawhuska and Wynona where she later graduated. Connie was later united in marriage Bob Dilley and they traveled throughout the United States while he was working on the pipeline. Connie later returned to the Pawhuska and Wynona area working several different jobs. Connie was also employed at Bama Pie for a short time making her home in Hominy, Oklahoma. She has been currently residing in Pawhuska for the past 20 years.

Connie loved driving and going places. She never met a stranger and would always strike up a conversation with anyone willing to talk. Traveling to visit family and friends was something she did often. Connie liked going to the Speedway Café in Tulsa. Shopping was something and she enjoyed doing and especially finding the right pair of sunglasses.

Survivors are her daughter Cherri Morrill of Hominy, Oklahoma; three grandchildren Sophia Carter of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Christee Jones and her husband Carl of Hominy, Oklahoma, Joe Morrill of Hominy, Oklahoma; four great grandchildren Matt, Justin, Layne, Sydnee, special nephew Joe Mushunkashey of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and a host of other relatives and friends. Connie was preceded in death by her parents John and Dolly Smith, son in law Jerry Morrill, four siblings Don Smith, John Smith, Carmen Roubedeaux, Earl Mushunkashey.
