Cecil E. Smith

October 07, 1937 ~ February 08, 2020

The services celebrating and honoring the life of Cecil E. Smith, 82, of Enid will be held at a later date. The family has chosen to donate his body to science.

He was born October 07, 1937 to Charlie Smith in Okemah, Oklahoma and passed from this life on February 08, 2020 in Enid, Oklahoma.

He was raised and educated in Okemah where he graduated from High School. He then moved to Tulsa. He married Elizabeth Rittle in 1962 in Okemah. He then moved to Enid in 1967 before moving to Hennessey in 1968. He worked for many gas stations and was also a short haul truck driver. He moved back to Enid in 1983 and began working for Advance Food until he retired in 2008. He then moved to Covington where he made his home. The last three years he has been a resident at Greenbrier Nursing Home. He was a coin collector and loved fishing.

He is survived by his daughter, Betty Pinales, son, Cecil Smith, grandchildren, Mark Smith, Barbara Diez, and Alexander Escarsega, and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
