Bernice Leah (Willis) Smith
November 28, 1920 ~ November 29, 2017

Bernice Leah (Willis) Smith passed away Nov. 29, 2017. Bernice was born Nov 28, 1920 in Georgetown, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dawson Bernard Smith, Jr.

She is survived by her son, Stephen Dawson Smith and wife, Cynthia Sue Smith, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma her son, James Randolph Smith, and his wife Sharon Faye Smith, of Mesquite, Texas plus six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

Bernice lived most of her life in Dallas, Texas working for 25 years at the Earth Science Department of Southern Methodist University. She was an active member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas, James Butler Bonham Chapter, and Highland Park United Methodist Church. Bernice has resided in Bartlesville for four years.

Graveside family services will be held on Thursday, December 7 at Restland Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
