Barbetta Lashawn Smith passed from this life on Saturday September 10, 2022 at her Residence in Pawnee, she was 56 years old. Barbetta was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on September 26, 1965 to Arthur Smith Sr. and Reloise (Willis) Smith. Barbetta was raised in Pawnee and graduated from Pawnee High School.

Barbetta was a very loving person who took a genuine interest in people, she would help anyone that she could. Barbetta loved to cook for her family and friends just like her mother would do. Barbetta helped take care of her brother Kevin Nesbitt until he passed in 2021. Barbetta dearly loved all her relatives and would call and check on them almost daily.

Barbetta is survived by her brothers Arthur Smith and Marcus Smith, uncle Bill Willis, numerous nieces and nephews, Laynett Johnson, Brian Johnson, Rodney Johnson, and Candace Johnson.

Barbetta was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Kevin Nesbitt, uncles Bill Willis, Archie Willis, aunts Hazel Banks, Maydell Rolland, and Maudieā€™b Pearson.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday 10:00 A.M. September 24, 2022 in the Emanuel Church Of God In Christ with Rev. A.V. Avington Jr. officiating.
