Betty Annette "Tody" Smith of Blackwell, Oklahoma, died early Wednesday morning, August 16, 2017, in the Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home at the age of 69 years.

Betty Annette "Tody" Smith was born on February 3, 1948, in Blackwell to Rexford and Betty (McGregor) Drake. She grew up in Blackwell and graduated from Blackwell High School in 1966. She married Robert Allen Smith that same year and they made their home in various places as his job required. In the late 1990's she moved to Ponca City before moving to Blackwell in 2017 to make her home.

She is survived by her son, Michael Smith of Camas, Washington; a sister, Kathy Gillispie of Blackwell; and two granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Her cremains will be placed with her parents in the Rose Hill Cemetery in South Haven, Kansas.
