Barbara Ann (Golladay) Smith
June 11, 1939 ~ July 1, 2021

Barbara Ann Golladay Smith left her earthly home on July 1, 2021 surrounded by 4 children & loved ones. She was born to A. Hunter Golladay & Nita Webster Golladay on June 11, 1939. She grew up on NW 11th street with her brother Hunter Jr. Barbara would spend over 80 years of her life in her childhood home that her father built. She attended NW Classen High School and was a graduate of the Class of 1957. After graduation, she married C.K. Smith. They had 4 wonderful children Diana, Bryan, Cheryl, and the baby Pamela Sue. Barbara met the love of her life, Chase Smith whom she married in February 1978. She was an avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed cheering for the Thunder & Bryan’s favorite the Oklahoma State Cowboys. She sold Mary Kay for over 35 years, loved reading the newspaper daily, enjoyed gardening, & spending time with friends & family.

Barbara is survived by her children; Diana Jameson (Johnny) of OKC, OK, Bryan Smith of Edmond, OK, Cheryl Hanson (Greg) of Alvin, TX, & Pam Morrisett (Jerry) of Crescent, OK. Her six grandchildren; Kristin, Jason, Emily, Eric, Emma & Avery and 10 great-grandchildren; John, Anna, Reagan, Alec, Luke, Jack, Grace, Maggie, Riley & Jillian. Also, nieces; Sandy Mayfield & Ann Brewer and nephew Monty Golladay, & very special friend Tony Foss. She is preceded in death by her husband Chase Smith, parents A. Hunter Golladay & Nita Webster Golladay, brother A. Hunter Golladay JR & wife Shirley Golladay.

Memorial Services will be held 1:00 pm, Friday, July 9, 2021 at the Village Methodist Church, 2501 West Britton Road OKC, OK under the direction of Abernathy-Aaron Funeral Home.
