Alta Mae (Longpine) Slaughter

May 4, 1942 ~ October 24, 2018

Alta Mae Longpine Slaughter, age 76, passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018. She was born to the late James and Ethel Longpine on May 4, 1942.

She is survived by her sister, Ines; her four children, Sheila, Dean, Lita and Dennis; 12 grandchildren, Sara, Jared, Alex, Tonya, Casey, Stormy, Brad, Kerri, Brent, Kyla, Tiffany, Tara; 36 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Ethel; her husband, Lester Slaughter; her siblings, Samie, Earl, Loretta, Edna, Frankie, J.W. and Arnold.

She enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She has always loved to cook, crochet, and watch her shows on the boob tube.

She will forever be missed and loved.
