Marietta Margarete "Mary" (Schneider) Slape

Marietta "Mary" Slape passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 6:56 p.m. at Jane Phillips Medical Center.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 23, 2013 in the Walker-Brown Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home.

Marietta Margarete Slape was born February 23, 1952 in Bitburg, Germany to George and Maria (Peters) Schneider. Mary was a caring individual as proven by her chosen profession as a Certified Nurse Aide. She enjoyed fishing, bingo and landscaping. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Mary is survived by one son, Ernest Slape Jr. of Bartlesville and one daughter, Jessica Slape and companion Roy Parker of Bartlesville. One brother, Heinz Schneider of Germany and close personal friend, Shayla Cramer-Palmer. She was blessed with two grandchildren, Brooklin & Bridgette Parker of Bartlesville, numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, dear friend, Ernest Slape, one brother, Mac Schneider, sister, Alfrieda Schneider Gillen and granddaughter, Hailey Brooke Parker.
